Job Responsibilities

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM (10-hour shifts) with weekend on-call duties.
• Manage 10 to 15 patients per shift, focusing on inpatient rounding.
• Provide inpatient hospital-based gastroenterology coverage.
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:4, with beeper call requiring a response time of 15 to 30 minutes.
• Perform essential procedures including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, and lower GI procedures.
• Demonstrate skills in small bowel biopsy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
• Commit to ongoing coverage of one week per month, including one weekend on-call per month.
