Senior Healthcare IT Project Manager

Salary: $138,320 - 148,720 per year Requirements At least 3 years of project management experience. At least 3 years of project management experience in a healthcare insurance IT environment. Experience with SharePoint and common project management tools, including Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access, and Excel. Experience managing project risks, including identifying risk triggers and addressing risks affecting project plan tasks. Ability to create and document project management artifacts and key documents. Strong written and oral communication skills, including presenting to executive management; effective listening and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple high-profile, high-priority projects simultaneously. Project planning experience, including estimating effort for technical tasks and allocating resources. PMI certification required; PMP certification preferred. Experience with Medicaid or healthcare claims IT projects is preferred but not required. Medicaid or healthcare delivery systems experience is also preferred. Responsibilities Manage multiple IT projects under the direction of the CIO or their designee. Help develop business requirements. Build project plans and execute work according to those plans. Manage project risks and issues. Ensure project activities and deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard. Report project status and strategies orally and in writing. Work with staff, management, team members, internal and external organizations, and vendors to gather and manage information for project and portfolio plans, metrics, reports, and project documentation. Engage with the business to understand project details beyond schedule management. Perform other related duties as assigned.
