Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs in a supportive, family-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive and restorative pediatric dental care
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases, developmental conditions, and dental trauma
• Perform pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, space maintenance, extractions, and composite restorations
• Administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia per state regulations and practice protocols
• Educate children and caregivers on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with dental, medical, and administrative teams
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and Illinois regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement and community outreach initiatives

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school
• Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency
• Active, unrestricted Illinois dental license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dentistry
• Valid DEA and Illinois controlled substance registration
• CPR/BLS required; PALS preferred
• 3+ years of pediatric dental experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with children and caregivers
• Commitment to trauma-informed, equitable, patient-centered care
