Position Overview UNC Primary Care at Freedom Square is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing primary care team. Located off Green Level Church Road in Apex, NC, our clinic provides comprehensive, family-centered care with convenient access for both families and working professionals. Clinical Services Provided Comprehensive preventive healthcare Acute and sick care Annual physicals and wellness visits Immunizations Women's health services Management of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma Routine screening and diagnostic testing Position Highlights Comprehensive and competitive benefits package with flexible coverage options and voluntary supplemental programs Competitive salary structure with excellent incentive opportunities Prime location near Research Triangle Park (RTP) Supportive, positive culture within a physician-led organization and a large, reputable healthcare system Qualifications Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) Active North Carolina license (or eligibility to obtain one) Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (PA) or NP program Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina Board certification if required by the Department Demonstrated clinical competency and effective leadership skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing Job Details Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Work type: Full Time (40.00 hours per week).
