Housekeeping Aide

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is looking for a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to join our team! The Housekeeping Aide helps maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. What You’ll Do Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility. Clean resident and common areas, offices, restrooms, therapy areas, activity rooms, hallways, entrances, lounges, lobbies, utility areas, and other assigned spaces. Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and infection control standards . Maintain a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive environment for residents, families, visitors, and employees. Respond promptly to emergency housekeeping needs and spills . Properly use cleaning products, equipment, and supplies. Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, therapy, and other departments to support the needs of residents. Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations . Maintain a professional appearance and follow the facility dress code. Help create a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents. What We’re Looking For Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, assisted living, hospital, hotel, or other commercial setting is a plus. Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cleaning procedures preferred. Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment. Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
