Copywriter (English or Spanish)

Overview The George Street Co-op is a non-profit natural foods store owned and run by its members. We sell vegetarian foods with minimal processing or additives. We welcome everyone to shop from our selection of fresh organic produce, bulk foods, vitamins & herbs, body care and earth-friendly products, gifts, and more. Role Outreach Committee volunteers are sought to write copy in English and/or Spanish for promotional materials such as flyers, social media posts, and in-store signage. Ideally bilingual (EN-ES) and skilled in writing for marketing/communications. This role may be performed in-person or remotely. Responsibilities Write copy in English and/or Spanish for promotional materials (flyers, social media posts, in-store signage). Collaborate with the Outreach Committee to develop clear, engaging messaging. Support marketing/communications efforts through compelling and accurate writing. Qualifications Strong writing skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Experience writing for marketing/communications a plus. Ability to work in a volunteer capacity and meet project timelines.
