Summary/Objective: The Maintenance Supervisor at Allied Stone plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless, uninterrupted operation of our stone manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead our maintenance team by implementing and performing proactive maintenance strategies, performing machine / building maintenance and repairs, optimizing machinery performance, and minimizing equipment downtime. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhance manufacturing efficiency, and uphold strict compliance with all safety regulations.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team in executing both

preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility infrastructure.

• Preventative Programs: Develop, implement, and track proactive maintenance schedules to

optimize equipment reliability and maximize production uptime.

• Production Coordination: Partner closely with the Production Teams to schedule necessary

maintenance windows, ensuring minimal disruption to operational workflows.

• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Efficiently diagnose and repair complex mechanical and

Electrical equipment issues, deploying prompt solutions to mitigate downtime.

• Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and specialized contractors for

technical services, equipment upgrades, and spare parts procurement.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce unwavering adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations,

and company safety standards across all maintenance operations.

• Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of maintenance activities,

including repairs, shift pass-downs, safety compliance audits, and equipment history.

• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor and manage the maintenance repair spend, identifying

cost-effective solutions and optimizing resource utilization.

• Training and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team in the execution

of both preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility

infrastructure.

KSA (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

• Knowledge:

o Technical understanding and experience of Manufacturing Machinery and Water Systems, preferably in the stone fabrication industry.

o Preventive maintenance and equipment repair best practices.

o Safety protocols and regulations.

• Skills:

o Proven Leadership and Team Management.

o Excellent Problem-solving and troubleshooting.

o Effective communicator and collaborator.

Work Environment:

• The stone manufacturing environment may involve exposure to dust, noise, and various weather conditions.

• Use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots may be required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform physical tasks related to maintenance activities.

• Stamina to respond to maintenance issues promptly, including standing for extended periods.

• Dexterity and precision for handling maintenance tools and equipment.

• Occasional flexibility requires working outside of standard business hours to meet project deadlines or support urgent business needs.

Travel Required:

• Infrequent 

Required Education and Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Maintenance Management / Supervisor role, preferably in a manufacturing or stone manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience with maintenance of stone fabrication machines and related equipment.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience with CMMS Platforms, Limble preferred.

• Trade School preferred, but not required - (Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical).

• Previous maintenance experience in the stone manufacturing Industry.
