Field Service Engineer 2 - Wknd Shift
Intuitive Surgical
Field Service Engineer 2 supporting Intuitive's surgical systems on a weekend shift in Sacramento. Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical devices while ensuring service agreements and customer satisfaction within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Intuitive surgical systems and associated equipment
- Conduct scheduled maintenance including inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, and system upgrades
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and hospital staff at assigned facilities
- Document service activities, maintain records, and complete quarterly assessments of assigned area
- Coordinate system and hardware delivery and installation with customers
Requirements
- Associate's degree in related field or equivalent training and experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to travel up to 75% and reside within 30 miles of assigned territory
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs
- Clean driving record and vendor credentialing approval for operating room access
