Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab, ensuring optimal patient care and procedural success. The role requires technical expertise and adherence to safety protocols within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex procedures including Left Heart Catheterizations, High-Risk PCIs, and Structural Heart interventions.
• Assist physicians during procedures by preparing equipment and managing procedural supplies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and clinical findings.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of specialized Cath Lab experience, including interventional and diagnostic procedures.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Certification as an AART or RCIS required.
• Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT/Radiology).
• Proven experience with all procedures including Pacemaker placements, Peripheral Interventions, and Electromechanical and Ultrasound-assisted procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and communicate effectively.
