Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Air Dominance Finance team within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit is looking for a highly motivated finance professional to help lead the financial management & oversight of a portfolio of contracts. You will partner with Program Management, key Functional team members, as well as the AMRAAM production and sustainment portfolio teams to ensure flawless program implementation through cost & schedule control, including Estimate and Complete (EAC’s) and EVM compliance. You will also be responsible for driving the portfolio’s FP&A cadence and maintaining coordination on recurring and ad hoc upstream deliverables.What sets this role apart from others is the broad array of development, infrastructure, platform integration, and international contracts. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for successful execution on multiple contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, etc.) and will lead a team of analysts supporting these efforts. The role requires the candidate to participate in multiple simultaneous proposal efforts as well as be a key stakeholder in proposal reviews and program kickoff reviews on a recurring basis. You will be an integral part of an exciting team where tactical thinking, multi-tasking and initiative are key requirements. You must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and comfortable with new challenges. Excellent communication skills are required, along with the ability to effectively interact with multiple layers of leadership within the organization and make recommendations for solutions.This position is being offered in a fully onsite capacity in Tucson, AZ.What You Will DoProvide key recommendations to senior key team members based on analysis that enhances value for all stakeholders.Implement and maintain EVMS being innovative in implementation of RMD practices, policies & standards to meet customer requirements with minimal tools support due to limited program access.Develop monthly forecasts, AOP & LRP in partnership with functional partners, providing tactical support of forecasts and plans using various financial tools (RPlan, SAP, BW, Excel).Meet internal & external deliveries with flawless work product, providing predictable financial forecasts, briefing program & finance key team members in advance of resolution making, providing financial strategies in proposals & contract negotiations.Finance delegate for proposals, gate reviews, and heading up strategic discussions with the program regarding profit; discussing fee and favorable criteria to drive a fair assessment of Raytheon’s work to encourage the best outcome for the business.Evaluate and improve internal controls, tools and processes.Lead and develop a team of 6+ program control analysts.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experienceExperience in Financial Planning and Program Controls.Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
