Overview

Seeking a Senior Application Engineer with deep experience in semiconductor ATE and digital device testing. This role supports advanced test solutions across pre-sales and post-sales, partnering with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready systems

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize test programs for digital semiconductors using V93000 / 93K
• Support pre-sales activities: technical presentations, benchmarking, requirements analysis
• Debug and resolve complex issues in SmarTest and ATE test environments
• Build automation tools and scripts (Python, Perl) to improve test efficiency and quality
• Lead customer training on ATE hardware, software, and workflows
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions with R&D and cross-functional teams
• Support system deployment, validation, and production ramp at customer sites
• Drive issue resolution across software, hardware, and test program layers

Required Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor ATE systems and test program development
• Strong Java programming for test development
• Hands-on experience with V93000 / 93K platforms
• Expertise in digital semiconductor device testing
• Proven debugging and problem-solving in test environments
• Customer-facing or field applications experience
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of ATE test development experience
• Knowledge of VLSI and semiconductor manufacturing
• Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
• C/C++ programming experience
• Experience using AI tools to improve engineering workflows
