Foreman Installation HVAC/RSalary Package: $60k to 100k/ Per AnnumCategory: Refrigeration / HVAC TechniciansCity: WorcesterState: MassachusettsPosition Type: Full timeOn-Call Work is a MUST when requiredEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Serves as lead technical resource on assigned projectsReports on job status and performanceControls job costsDevelops and maintains productive relationships with peers, customers, GCs and subcontractorsEnsures use of PPE and the application of safe behavior, including vehicle safety, by all employeesEnsures compliance of Installation policies and procedures, including project tracking, safety, time and attendance, etc.May oversee 3rd party resourcesDirects and oversees the work of other Apprentices and Journeyman assigned to specific projectsJob Requirements:High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical schoolCollege degree is a plus5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or other related industry/tradeKnowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hoursAbility to organize tasksAbility to use good judgment in making work assignmentsAbility to give clear instructions and guidance, as neededAbility to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as neededAbility to ensure safe work practices and ensure compliance with Safety policiesAbility to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal lawsAbility to work with minimal supervisionTrack record of punctuality and dependabilityAbility to use computer tools including E-Mail, Word, Project Planning Software (Projectmates), etc.Ability to manage time, delegate assignments and follow through to ensure good resultsWhy Join Us:We understand that hiring great people in the field is the foundation of everything we do.
