Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid on-site and remote Architectural Sales Specialist role based in the San Diego Metropolitan Area. The Architectural Sales Specialist will identify and pursue new business opportunities with architects, designers, contractors, and commercial clients, while nurturing existing relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand project requirements, attend preliminary job walks, recommending custom interior attributes working with the owner and design team. Ideal candidate will have knowledge in signage, lighting, hospitality, commercial, residential interiors and architectural branding solutions, and have the basic skills in preparing proposals, quotes, and presentations. The role involves coordinating with internal design, production, and installation teams to ensure accurate specifications, timelines, and budgets, and tracking opportunities through the sales pipeline. The specialist will also conduct site visits, stay informed about materials and design trends, and represent the company at industry events and client meetings. Qualifications Strong consultative Sales skills, including prospecting, relationship building, and closing Experience with Interior Design concepts and solutions related to commercial environments Background in Sales Management, account management, or territory development Knowledge of Furniture, fixtures, and related design elements used in branded spaces Familiarity with Building Materials, finishes, and construction-related specifications Ability to read plans, interpret architectural drawings, and translate them into project scopes Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects Comfort working on-site, conducting field measurements, and collaborating with technical teams Experience in architectural products, signage, construction, or commercial design is preferred Proficiency with basic CRM tools and standard office software Bachelor’s degree in business, design, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience #J-18808-Ljbffr UDG Projects/United Design Group
