Inspire the Community. Create What's Next. The City of Carmel is looking for a creative, driven Multimedia Specialist to help tell the stories that shape one of America's premier communities. From community events and public meetings to major City initiatives and emergency communications, you'll create compelling photo, video, and digital content that informs, engages, and inspires. If you're passionate about visual storytelling and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Produce, film, edit, and publish professional video and photography for the City's website, social media, cable channel, and digital platforms. Capture community events, public meetings, and City initiatives through engaging visual storytelling. Collaborate with the Marketing & Community Relations team to develop creative campaigns and multimedia content. Assist with livestreams, public information, and communications during City events and emergency situations. Ensure all content reflects the City's brand standards, accessibility requirements, and public records regulations. Stay current with emerging multimedia technology and industry best practices. What You'll Bring Associate's degree in Multimedia Communications, Digital Media, Film Production, or a related field. Two (2) or more years of professional experience in multimedia production, videography, photography, or digital communications. Experience with professional video editing, photography, lighting, audio, and digital content creation. Experience with livestreaming, broadcast production, or Cablecast/Tightrope systems is a plus. Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Why Carmel?
