Workforce Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Muncie, IN | Onsite

Schedule

Training: 1st shift for up to 30 days

Regular schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

Company Overview

Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring a Workforce Operations Supervisor to lead 2nd-shift workforce operations inside a manufacturing facility in Muncie, IN. This role manages daily staffing, attendance, timekeeping, employee support, and workforce coordination while partnering directly with client supervisors and operations leaders.

This opportunity is well suited for someone with experience in staffing operations, manufacturing supervision, workforce coordination, HR/employee relations, or production leadership who is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily employee headcount, workforce scheduling, and shift coverage to support production needs.
• Monitor attendance and timekeeping and maintain accurate workforce records.
• Use HRIS/workforce management systems to track employee and staffing information.
• Serve as the primary 2nd-shift contact for employees and respond to workplace questions and concerns.
• Coach employees and support performance, attendance, documentation, disciplinary actions, and terminations as appropriate.
• Partner with client supervisors and operations managers on staffing needs, workforce updates, and operational challenges.
• Support employee engagement and retention efforts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support safety and incident reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in staffing operations, manufacturing supervision, workforce coordination, HR/employee relations, production leadership, or a related field.
• Experience supporting or managing a high-volume workforce.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle employee concerns professionally and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• Manufacturing, production, or industrial environment experience.
• Experience with HRIS or workforce management systems; UKG experience is a plus.
• Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
• Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
