This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Team Member Relations Partner based in United States.
This senior individual contributor role provides strategic and hands-on support for complex workplace and team member relations matters across a global, distributed organization.
You will guide leaders through sensitive employee relations issues, performance management, investigations, and policy interpretation.
The role involves independently managing higher-risk cases while partnering closely with Legal and People Business Partners.
You will lead thorough investigations, analyze case trends, and translate findings into practical recommendations that reduce organizational risk.
You will also help strengthen policies, programs, and practices that promote consistency, fairness, and a positive team member experience.
Success requires sound judgment, discretion, empathy, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
This is an opportunity to shape team member relations practices within a highly collaborative, remote-first, and globally diverse environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead sensitive and complex workplace investigations from intake through resolution, including conducting interviews, reviewing internal data, documenting findings, preparing investigation reports, and recommending appropriate next steps.
- Coach and advise managers and leaders on complex team member relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, policy application, and organizational risk.
- Partner with Legal and People Business Partners to assess cases, provide context, support consistent decision-making, and determine appropriate courses of action.
- Support proactive team member relations programs designed to identify and address workplace concerns before they escalate.
- Interpret and help apply employment policies, procedures, and practices across jurisdictions while considering applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development, review, and continuous improvement of policies and initiatives as the organization evolves.
- Analyze team member relations case trends and provide insights to leaders, Legal, and People Business Partners to inform policy, program, and risk-reduction strategies.
- Support global governance of team member relations practices and help ensure consistent approaches across regions while accounting for local requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for complex team member relations matters and contribute to broader cross-functional People initiatives.
- Maintain a high standard of confidentiality, professionalism, documentation, and sound judgment when handling sensitive or time-critical situations.
Requirements:
- Progressive experience in employee relations or team member relations, including ownership of complex, multi-party workplace investigations and sensitive cases.
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws relevant to employee relations, including FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and EEOC processes; familiarity with employment regulations in other regions is a plus.
- Experience working within a global, distributed, multi-jurisdictional, or geographically diverse organization.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt guidance to different regulatory, cultural, and business environments.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive change, gain stakeholder alignment, and build support without relying on direct authority.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, objective, and well-supported investigation reports.
- Exceptional judgment, discretion, confidentiality, empathy, and conflict-resolution skills when managing sensitive workplace matters.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, business judgment, attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify patterns and trends in employee relations matters and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or an equivalent professional certification is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively with Legal, People teams, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Benefits:
- U.S. base salary range of $104,800–$176,400 , with compensation determined by factors including experience, education, skills, abilities, market data, equity considerations, and geographic location.
- Additional compensation opportunities may include equity and other applicable incentives; the stated base salary range excludes bonuses, equity, and benefits.
- Comprehensive benefits supporting health, financial security, and overall well-being.
- Flexible paid time off.
- Equity compensation and an employee stock purchase plan.
- Parental leave.
- Growth and development funding to support professional learning and career progression.
- Team Member Resource Groups and an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture.
- Home office and remote-work support.
- Global, all-remote working environment with opportunities to collaborate across regions and functions.
- Commitment to equal opportunity, accessibility, and an inclusive employee experience.
