About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Sustainability to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the organization's goals. This includes developing a strategy for scope 3 emissions, leading ESG initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards for responsible sourcing. The role involves close collaboration with the Global Director of ESG and HSE, as well as the C-suite, and requires the ability to manage both internal and external reporting requirements. The Head of Sustainability will also be the primary point of contact for sustainability matters with customers and other key stakeholders. Applicants for the Head of Sustainability position at the company should have a relevant bachelor's degree in a related field or professional experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. A minimum of 5 years' experience in sustainability, sourcing in personal care and ingredients, supply chain management, or a related field with a focus on palm and/or soy sourcing, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing sustainability strategies in a corporate setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. An entrepreneurial mindset and the willingness to travel are also essential for this role.
