First Independent Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated Commercial Lines Producer to join our team. This is an opportunity for someone with proven sales ability who wants to build a rewarding career in commercial insurance and play an important role in the continued growth of our agency. Insurance experience is not required.

We're looking for someone who is driven, proactive, relationship-focused, and comfortable pursuing new business . Commercial insurance experience is preferred, but the right sales professional with a strong work ethic and desire to learn is encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Generate leads and actively pursue new commercial business opportunities.
• Develop relationships with business owners and prospective clients.
• Identify client needs and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions.
• Educate clients on coverage options and help them make informed decisions.
• Follow up consistently with prospects, leads, referrals, and opportunities.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals and work toward closing new business.
• Build long-term client relationships that lead to retention, referrals, and account growth.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activity.
• Collaborate with the agency team to move opportunities from prospect to bound account.
• Stay informed on commercial insurance products, markets, and industry developments.
• Work toward and achieve individual and agency production goals.

• Prior sales experience and prospecting experience is required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident and comfortable initiating sales conversations.
• Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable results.
• Persistent with strong follow-up and prospecting skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
• Self-motivated while also being a strong team player.
• Professional, coachable, and eager to continue developing your skills.
• Comfortable learning and using agency management systems, CRM tools, and technology.
