Laboratory Technician

BCforward is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the Maize Transformation Team within Crop Transformation Systems, Biotechnology, Trait Discovery, and Optimization. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands‑on plant biotechnology and tissue culture experience who are passionate about advancing agricultural innovation. Key Responsibilities Prepare maize explants and perform transformation procedures following established SOPs Sub-culture tissues during selection and regenerate plants to produce high‑quality transgenic and genome‑edited lines Maintain accurate electronic and legal notebook documentation Summarize experimental data and support research activities Organize daily laboratory workflows while adhering to safety and ergonomic standards Required Qualifications Hands‑on experience with plant tissue culture, transformation, and regeneration Ability to follow SOPs and execute detailed laboratory workflows Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills High attention to detail and commitment to laboratory safety Preferred Qualifications Experience with maize transformation and genome editing in crop species Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks and scientific data summarization If you or someone in your network is interested, please send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io or connect with me directly. #J-18808-Ljbffr BCforward
