Clinical Manager Outpatient The Clinical Manager oversees all aspects of clinical programming, ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. This role involves supervising clinical staff, managing patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Clinical Manager works closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment programs that align with best practices in addiction recovery. The Clinical Manager provides leadership and supervision to therapists, counselors, and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to treatment protocols. They develop and implement clinical programming, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations, industry standards, and organizational goals. They oversee admissions, discharges, and extensions of treatment, ensuring decisions align with patient needs and clinical best practices. They ensure all treatment schedules, staff schedules, and group therapy offerings are maintained and delivered effectively. They conduct staff meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision to support professional development and ensure high standards of patient care. They carry a caseload based on census. The Clinical Manager provides direct clinical supervision to therapists and counselors working toward licensure. They ensure ongoing training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff, enhancing knowledge in addiction treatment and evidence-based practices. They monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and corrective actions as necessary. The Clinical Manager ensures compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and accreditation requirements such as The Joint Commission (TJC). They conduct regular audits of patient records, documentation, and treatment plans to maintain quality and compliance. They participate in utilization review meetings, representing patient needs in both clinical and financial considerations. They develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical operations and enhance patient outcomes. The Clinical Manager mediates patient and family concerns regarding treatment delivery, ensuring a patient-centered approach. They collaborate with medical staff, case management, and social services to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. They stay current with emerging trends in addiction treatment and integrate new research into clinical programming. Core competencies include strong clinical leadership and ability to oversee a multidisciplinary team, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in managing patient care and clinical staff, effective communication and conflict-resolution skills to address patient, staff, and regulatory concerns, strong documentation and organizational skills to ensure compliance with treatment and legal standards, and ability to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical programming. Physical and work environment requirements include the ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods while overseeing clinical operations, ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally for supplies or patient care materials, ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment that may involve exposure to emotionally charged situations, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
