Reporting to the Global Head of Finance Operations, this role will drive operational excellence, strengthen financial controls, and support the continued evolution of our finance operating model.This is a high-impact leadership role focused on delivering efficient, standardized, and scalable accounts payable operations across regions.**Location:** This position will be based out of our **London, New York or Purchase New York** office. We strive for collaboration, which is why we offer a work environmentwhere our employees thrive and develop long-lasting careers.**Our business, your impact, our opportunity:****What You’ll Be Doing...*** Own and lead the global end-to-end Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay process* Oversee invoice processing, approval workflows, and payment execution across regions* Drive standardization of AP processes, policies, and controls across markets* Improve cycle times, reduce manual effort, and enhance operational efficiency* Partner with Treasury and Finance to support cash flow optimization and payment strategies* Ensure accurate reporting, including AP aging, accruals, and payment forecasting* Maintain a strong control environment and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements* Lead automation and technology initiatives in partnership with Finance Technology and IT* Build and develop a high-performing global team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement**What You’ll Bring...*** 10+ years of experience in accounts payable or finance operations, including leadership roles* Strong expertise in Procure-to-Pay processes, controls, and payment operations* Experience operating in global, multi-entity environments with complex vendor structures* Proven track record of driving process improvement, automation, and standardization* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on operational performance* Experience working with ERP systems, workflow tools, and financial reporting platforms* Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior stakeholders across Finance and the business* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldAt Sompo, we recognize that the talent, skills, and commitment of our employees drive our success.
