About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to lead its accounting and financial reporting functions. This critical role involves ensuring the integrity of financial statements, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the implementation of robust internal controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and filing of financial statements, developing and maintaining internal control policies, managing external audits, and ensuring the accuracy of all accounting activities. Additionally, the VP, Corporate Controller will collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, and will play a key role in supporting the company's strategic objectives. Candidates for the VP, Corporate Controller position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA certification. A minimum of 15 years' progressive accounting experience, including at least 8 years in a leadership role within a public company, is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance is essential, as is experience with enterprise-level ERP systems. The role demands a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be expected to have strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
