In this role, the technician performs routine maintenance and repair services, including tire installation and repair, oil changes, brake services, alignments, battery replacement, and other general automotive diagnostics.Daily responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, accurately identifying mechanical issues, following manufacturer and company repair procedures, and documenting work performed in a clear and timely manner. The technician collaborates with service advisors and store leadership to prioritize work, uphold safety standards, and deliver a positive experience for every customer.This position also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, using proper tools and equipment, and participating in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technologies and BSRO service standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess practical automotive service and repair skills, including experience with basic maintenance, diagnostics, and use of standard shop tools and equipment.Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail in inspecting vehicles and identifying issues accurately.Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to explain findings clearly and collaborate with teammates and service advisors.Candidates should possess sound safety practices and reliability, including adherence to shop safety procedures and consistent, on-time attendance.Candidates should possess a willingness to learn, including participation in ongoing training and the ability to adapt to new automotive technologies and company processes.Relevant qualifications such as ASE certifications, prior experience in a tire or auto service shop, and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record are highly beneficial.
