Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases in the NICU/PICU. Utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery methods, the therapist plays a key role in the multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and evaluate treatments for patients.
• Utilize high-flow devices, nebulizers, nitric oxide, heliox, and other respiratory care equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient data and treatments accurately in Meditech.
• Provide coverage for adult floors when necessary, including nebulizer therapy and BIPAP.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current NICU/PICU experience.
• 2 years of current acute care hospital Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS.
• Preferred: Previous Meditech experience.
