Physical Education Teacher – Middle School

REQUIREMENTS

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Physical Education endorsement or ability to obtain Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification or willingness to obtain

PREFERENCES

Knowledge of Michigan Academic Standards for Health and Physical Education. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to integrate instructional technology into teaching and assessment. Experience teaching Middle School students Bachelors degree or higher in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field Knowledge of child and adolescent development Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success
