Licensed Clinical Social Worker

PPDG is a government contractor providing our employees full-time hours and benefits to work within DoD medical sites in service to our Nation's Heroes and their dependents. PPDG has been serving heroes' since 1984. Job Description Type of work: The duties will be performed in accordance with established procedures and protocols, within the scope of practice. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Provides services as a part of a multi-disciplinary health care team to patients who are eligible beneficiaries of the Military Health Care System authorized by Army Regulation (AR) 40-3, Medical, Dental, and Veterinary care. HCWs shall utilize short-term and long-term care models, patient and provider consultation models and education in conjunction with the DoD CPGs to address behavior health (BH) concerns and medical conditions related to BH needs of the service members. HCWs shall provide BH screening, assessment, and direct care specialty referral to service members. HCWs serves as a BH referral resource and subject matter expert in BH related programs to the MTF staff, medical staff in primary care clinics and other on-post medical settings such as BH Clinics and Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) locations. Qualifications EDUCATION: Masters or Doctorate Degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) CERTIFICATIONS: In addition to Basic Life Support LICENSE/REGISTRATION: HCW must possess a Clinical Social Work license from a US jurisdiction that allows for the independent practice of Clinical Services. The license must be one granted by the recognized licensing agency of a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the Virgin Islands. EXPERIENCE: HCW must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical social work, preferably in a Government setting providing clinical services to individuals in clinical psychotherapy services.
