Travel Registered Nurse (RN) L&D

Schedule: Nights

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Weeks: 13
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

  • Current Washington State RN Licensure.
  • HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire AHA or equivalent.
  • Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred.
  • Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.
  • AAP NRP Advanced (American Academy of Pediatrics, Neonatal Resuscitation Program) is required for all RNs working in the Mother Baby Unit prior to the end of orientation and renewed every 2 years.
  • ACLS (AHA Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed every 2 years.
  • Completion of STABLE course within 6 months of completing orientation, and renewed every 2 years (optional).
  • AWHONN's Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course for all L&D RNs is required and must be obtained within 3 months of completing L&D training, renewed every 2 years.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments, focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
  • Implement patient care plans with precision, utilizing established procedures and protocols.
  • Identify and address patient and family learning needs while providing appropriate education and support.
  • Document patient care accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing and non-nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
  • Maintain professional growth by participating in relevant educational opportunities and adhering to safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes:

Up to 24 hours of call off available to the facility at no cost during the course of the assignment.
