In this Life Skills classroom, you’ll work alongside a collaborative team of 3-4 paraprofessionals supporting students in K-2 or 3rd-5th grade. Qualifications:

• Active Texas Special Education Teacher (K-5) license required
• Experience in special education settings, preferably with autism or multiple disabilities
• Strong skills in case management, IEP development, data collection, and lesson planning

Responsibilities:

• Teach and support a diverse group of 15 elementary students in a Life Skills classroom
• Case manage student IEPs, collaborating with families and specialists
• Supervise and mentor paraprofessionals, fostering a positive learning environment
• Collect and analyze data to inform instructional practices
