Clinical Laboratory Scientist
US Department of War
Duties
Conduct high complexity patient testing in a Clinical Pathology Service to include, but not limited to, chemistry and hematology pre-analytics and automation, immunoassays, coagulation, differentials, etc., in a high volume, fast paced environment.
Perform all duties in compliance with quality control, quality assurance, proficiency testing, safety requirements, and standards set by the College of American Pathologists and local, state, and federal agencies.
Support all laboratory equipment and take appropriate corrective actions should quality control and/or performance indicators fail.
Work in the best interest of the government to minimize costs, use resources wisely, and provide accurate and timely patient results.
