OB/GYN Hospitalist

Obstetrix of California at San Jose is seeking an experienced BC/BE OB Hospitalist to join their Maternal-Fetal Medicine led practice at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric care, including managing deliveries, assisting with C-sections, and evaluating GYN ER cases. • Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA
• Level III NICU
• 24-hr dedicated Anesthesiologist to L&D
• 24-hr Neonatologist and 24-hr Pediatric Hospitalist
• GYN ER evaluation of unassigned Gyn surgery is managed by a separate on call GYN physician

Responsibilities

• Perform 0-3 deliveries and assist on 1-2 c-sections on average per shift
• Provide Ob triage for unassigned and private patients on request
• Receive MFM transports (5-6 per month)
• Round on inpatients (postpartum)
• Share rounding on antepartum patients with MFM
• Perform GYN ER evaluation of unassigned patients

Compensation

• Base pay is $296,400 (for .71 FTE) plus bonus incentive program
• Base pay is $328,320 (for .780 FTE) plus bonus incentive program
• Extra hours are paid at $190 per hour

Shift & Schedule

• Five to Six 24-hr shifts per 4 week cycle
• Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis
