Maintenance Lead

Job Title: Maintenance Lead Position Type: Non-Union, Non-Exempt Compensation: $25-27/hr + OT Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Overview Seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team. As a Maintenance Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and facilities through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of machinery. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity. Execute tear-downs and rebuilds of machinery as needed for maintenance or upgrades. Implement Lockout/Tagout procedures to maintain safety standards. Operate and maintain overhead cranes (experience preferred). Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performance. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment as needed. Note: The duties outlined in this description represent the core responsibilities of the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary. Qualifications Proficiency in pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and hand tool operations. Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams. Comfort working at heights of up to 150 feet. Previous experience operating overhead cranes preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing environments preferred. Must possess adequate vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
