Through our tenure we have built strong foundational relationships with vendors and suppliers.Job Summary:Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.About the Role:This role operates Mazak CNC milling machine to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The machinist sets up, programs, and runs Mazak equipment, maintains part quality through in-process inspection, and keeps production flowing through established workflow, safety standards, and accuracy.Required Qualifications:US Citizenship is required per DoD requirementsMinimum Qualifications:Knowledge of mazatrol controlsAbility to read and write G CodeHold tolerance of .0005 +/-Ability to set-up machines / toolingAbility to use measurements equipment i.e. Mics, Calipers, highstands, and indramic’s, etc.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with E2 is a plus.Responsibilities:Ability to work with others and as a teamAbility to work overtime when askedAbility to maintain a clean work areaProblem solving / troubleshooting skillsPhysical & Mental:General: Position requires ability to concentrate on details with occasional interruption and attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time. Ability to understand theories behind related concepts and to remember multiple tasks given to self and others over periods of time; ability to prioritize given shifting priorities; ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.Environmental & Working Conditions:Industrial shop setting.
