Job Details: Shift: 5x8 M-F primarily; 7-9am start times, Weekend REQ: YES, every third week, some holiday coverage as needed, Pending license: NO, must be active at time of submission - NO SCHEDULING REQUESTS CAN BE ACCOMODATED. NO RTO WITHIN FIRST 2 WEEKS

Skills: Calorie Counts, Develop Plan of Treatment, Enteral Nutrition (tube feedings), Nutrition Assessments/Reassessments, Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE), Nutrition Therapy Complications, Protein Calorie Malnutrition, Therapeutic Diet Orders, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk distances over the greater portion of the assigned shift. Must be able to see, speak and hear clearly.

Work Environment: Must be able to perform assigned duties in a demanding work environment; may be required to attend meetings in off-campus locations and provide in-services to groups out of regular working hours. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases. Subject to frequent handwashing and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Occasional exposure to unpleasant patient or unit conditions. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Subject to interruptions. Subject to regular changing priorities and work assignments.

State License Required: Credentialing as Diet Technician Registered by Commission on Dietetic Registration. Special Equipment: Valid perm California license must be in hand at time of submission. Locals accepted at same rate. No radius rule. Valid State License - Must have CA license in hand at the time of submittal. No Pending or temp. References - 2 references from within the past 1 year of employment are required at the time of submission. Must be supervisor or higher - No Charge RN. Hard Stop. Return Staff Policy - Previous perm employees must be separated for 24 months before they are eligible for travel positions at all Cedars-Sinai facilities (including Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Cedars Marina Del Rey), with the exception of CSMN, which requires a 12 month separation. All past Cedars employment (travel, staff, etc.) MUST be included on profile. This includes Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cedars Marina Del Rey, Torrance Memorial, Cedars-Sinai Medical Network (CSMN), Huntington Health Physicians (HHP) and Huntington Hospital. Scheduling Requests None allowed. Traveler should be flexible. Background Policy - Any license or background hit requires a detailed written statement from the traveler. License/background hits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any license or background hits that are open and/or pending are an automatic redirect. All hits must be completely closed. RTO Rules: Max RTO: 2 weeks total No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment Compliance: Modules: Modules are billable and non-billable, 10-40 hours Billable: the first 17 hours or HealthStream Modules are billable Non-billable: any time spent on modules after first 17 hours in non-billable Modules are completed pre-start and during orientation if not completed pre-start, and vary by specialty Modules are self-reported on module timecard
