Workers Compensation Claims Specialist

Seeking a full-time temporary Workers' Compensation Claims Intake/First Notice of Loss Specialist, this role will manage the intake and assignment of new claims, providing clerical support to claims adjusters while working remotely or in-office at select locations. Key responsibilities: Provide clerical support to facilitate timely and accurate intake and assignment of commercial claims Update claims in the database and communicate with brokers as necessary Screen incoming calls and prepare written correspondence related to claims Required qualifications: One year of insurance experience, with general knowledge of commercial workers' compensation insurance High school diploma (or equivalent) and three years of relevant work experience, or vocational/technical education with one year of relevant experience Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone and fluently read and write in English Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and eagerness to learn the claims function
