Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical – Colorado

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Patient ratio typically 5:1 on nights. Work alongside an experienced team including 1 charge nurse, 1.5 techs, and 5-6 RNs per shift.

Highlights:

• Specialty medical/telemetry unit with 33 rooms and up to 49-patient capacity
• Focus on advanced wound care including surgical flap patients and spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention
• Collaborate with burn unit on low-acuity burn patient care
• EMR system: Meditech
• Telemetry monitoring equipment in use
• Busy, fast-paced environment ideal for nurses who thrive on variety and complexity

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience required
• Current RN license in Colorado (or eligibility for licensure)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with spinal cord injury patients preferred
• Proficiency in wound care and bowel programs highly valued
