Location:11501 Outlook Street, Overland Park KansasJob SummaryUnder the supervision of the department manager, the Investor Accounting Analyst III is responsible for accurate and timely reporting and remitting as dictated by the related servicing agreements for assigned contracts. In addition to standard Investor Analyst responsibilities, this role handles more complex and potentially labor-intensive manual calculations for deals such as Participation, Third-Party, and CMBS contracts.Essential FunctionsPerform all functions of an Investor Analyst IIInterpret Pooling and Servicing Agreements (PSA), Sub-Servicing Agreements (SSA), Interim Servicing Agreements (ISA), Participation Agreements, and other complex third-party agreements to determine portfolio reporting and remittance requirements and respond to investor inquiriesReview, communicate, and set up new contracts in core systems including Strategy Investor Setup, Collection Account Setup, RECWEB Investor Summary/Calendar Setup, and Trustee File SetupResolve servicing fee and other validation exceptionsMonitor calculation and reporting of Realized Losses, Appraisal Reduction Amounts (ARA), and Appraisal Subordinate Entitlement Reductions (ASERS)Provide advice, oversight, and assistance to management in identifying, managing, and escalating risk issuesCommunicate with Rating Agencies, Trustees, and Investors, ensuring confidentiality documents are current and on fileExceed performance goals and consistently push self and others for resultsAssist in the development and training of new employeesSupport peers with reconcilement issues and questionsParticipate in special projects, including testing phases of system upgrades and enhancementsContribute to team development and team building initiativesPerforms other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without noticeComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.EducationBachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)OR equivalent experience (required)Work Experience1+ years of investor reporting or related experience within the industry, with emphasis in loan servicing or commercial real estate reporting (preferred)SkillsPreparation and validation of complex investor reports and remittances per servicing agreementsAnalysis of PSAs, SSAs, ISAs, and third-party contracts to determine reporting requirementsConfiguration of investor and trustee data in systems like Strategy and RECWEBExecution of labor-intensive calculations for specialized contracts such as CMBS and Participation dealsResolution of exceptions and discrepancies in servicing fee calculationsMonitoring and reporting of Realized Losses, ARAs, and ASERS for investor portfoliosIdentification and escalation of risk issues to ensure compliance and operational integrityProfessional interaction with rating agencies, trustees, investors, and internal teamsUse of advanced Excel functions for ad-hoc reporting and financial analysisMentoring peers and assisting with reconcilement and procedural questionsOnboarding and development of new employees through knowledge sharingParticipation in testing phases of system upgrades and enhancementsRecommendation and implementation of changes to investor reporting proceduresAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with precision and efficiencyCommitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining confidentialityCore CompetenciesAll KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key’s Values and abide by Key’s Code of Conduct.Physical DemandsGeneral Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.TravelOccasional travel to include overnight stay.Work Location CategoryHybrid (2+ days)COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $63,000.00 - $96,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
