EKG Technician/Phlebotomist - Windsor - PRN (As Needed)Windsor (LLC) - Champaign, IL 61822OverviewSalary Range $17.73 - $24.38 Hourly Position Type PRN/Per Diem (As Needed) Job Shift 1st Shift Education Level High School Category LaboratoryGeneral Summary of DutiesChristie Clinic's department of Laboratory is seeking a PRN (as needed) EKG Technician/Phlebotomist at the Windsor clinic in Champaign with varied hours between Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm, with occasional Saturdays from 8:00am-12:00pm. This position may require occasional travel to other clinics to support the laboratory department.Duties include the performance of phlebotomy and EKG testing and other related exams on patients according to established standards and practices.Job Qualifications and ExpectationsJOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)Perform venipuncture, for all age groupsPerform EKGsPerform lab safety auditsInventory management of general lab suppliesMaintain lab records and filesPerform related work as required.Train new personnel, if neededPotential for travel to other lab locations. Mileage will be reimbursed after employee submits to supervisor.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:High school or equivalent.Completion of phlebotomy and EKG course (Can be substituted by one year's experience)CPRPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:1 year: EKG Technician/PhlebotomyTYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching and lifting up to 35 pounds. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required.TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is performed in a laboratory setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases and electric hazards. Requirements may include working irregular hours.PAY AND BENEFITS:The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. We also offer vacation pay as well as a 401k plan.
