Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Port Operations to lead and oversee import and drayage operations across our Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC port locations. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end operational performance—from port to customer delivery—ensuring efficiency, compliance, safety, and service excellence. The Senior Manager will split time between both ports weekly (approximately two days per week at each location) and will provide direct leadership to on‑site managers, administrative staff, and a driver workforce consisting of both owner‑operators and company drivers. This position plays a critical role in driving operational consistency, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting growth across the region. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of port operations experience Must include hands on experience with import containers, import documentation, drayage, chassis, and maintenance operations 2+ years of people management experience Prior experience working within a 3PL environment (asset based logistics) Ability to travel domestically up to 25% (primarily east coast) Comfortable traveling regularly between Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC ports #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
