As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Officer in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support daily operations with a caring, reliable, and team-focused approach rooted in integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 07:15 PMSat08:00 AM - 05:15 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor store activity and access points for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and communicate relevant information according to post instructions.
Support closing and opening routines, assist with crowd and line management during busy periods, and provide direction during alarms, medical situations, and/or other location-specific incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
