Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Current, unencumbered Georgia Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• Home health experience preferred. Client prefers clinicians with prior home health caseload management and in-home evaluation experience.
• Experience with HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS EMR systems preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance for travel between patient homes.
• Ability to perform patient evaluations, develop and update plans of care, and supervise/coordinate care with PTAs and home health aides as assigned.
• Familiarity with state-specific home health therapy regulations and documentation requirements is preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Home Health.
• Shift Name: Evenings.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Territories Covered: Coffee County, Bacon County, Atkinson County.
• Travel Expectations: Approximately 30–40 miles per day driving to patient homes.
• Productivity Expectations: 25–30 units per week.
• EMR Systems: HomeCare HomeBase, OASIS.
• On-Call Requirement: None.
