Location: Gastroenterology Lab, 10815 W McDowell Rd, 203, Avondale, AZ 85392, USA Position Type: PRN Registered Nurse Job Title: Registered Nurse Responsibilities: Under physician supervision, take patient medical histories and vital signs and enter the information into the EHR system. Examine patients and assist with treatment. Order laboratory tests, track results, and ensure the physician reviews them promptly. Record progress notes in the EHR system. Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans. Administer chemotherapy, including initiating IVs, performing injections, and drawing blood samples. Travel may be required depending on business needs. Hours may vary and may be outside of normal office hours depending on business needs. Requirements: Registered Nurse licensed in Arizona. High School Diploma or GED. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with diverse populations. Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized manner. Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and the secure handling of Protected Health Information.
