As one of the nation's largest nonprofit Catholic healthcare organizations, CommonSpirit Health delivers more than 20 million patient encounters annually through more than 2,300 clinics, care sites and 158 hospital-based locations, in addition to its home-based services and virtual care offerings.As a Field Service Specialist, you will provide specialized repair and maintenance services for diagnostic imaging (radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, etc.) and biomedical equipment, expanding on FSS I duties. Daily, you will primarily repair and maintain intermediate imaging equipment (DR, basic CT/CT Sim, oncology, Vascular/Specials), leveraging training to reduce contract dependency. You will lead within Clinical Engineering, assisting FSS with imaging equipment repair, and manage service emergencies and communications with stakeholders. Your duties also include parts ordering, Account Manager coverage, identifying new service opportunities, analyzing cost histories for expense reduction, and supporting general biomedical equipment as needed. Success in this role requires advanced technical expertise, strong leadership, exceptional problem-solving, a proactive approach to cost reduction/training, and commitment to precise, operational healthcare technology.This position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
