Urgent Care Physician Assistant
Aequor Healthcare Services
Cordova, TN:
-Mon Fri: 8:00am-6:00pm; Saturday: 8:00am-5:00pm-Flexible schedule 30 - 40 hours per week
- Urgent Care cases (URI/Cough/Cold/Sore throat/Fevers/Sprains/Strains/Rash etc.)
Education:
- Graduated from an accredited Professional Physician Assistant Program
- Active Physician Assistant state license in TN
- Active DEA
- BLS, PALS, ACLS
- Willing to get Medical Examiners Certification for DOT physicals
Experience:
- Minimum 2 year applicable experience in acute/urgent care, family practice or emergency department setting
- Experience in pediatrics (ages 6 months and up)
- Familiar with management of Chronic medical conditions ( Diabetes, Hypertension, CHF, Etc.)
- Experience using an Electronic Health Record
- Minimum 1 year treating patients autonomously
- Must be able to suture, drain abscesses, and complete charts in a timely fashion
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
