Wealth Management Client Associate

Location: Madison, Wisconsin (Full-Time/Hybrid)

Compensation: Base salary + benefits

The Opportunity:

Our client is a growing independent wealth management firm looking for a Wealth Management Client Associate who is excited to build a long-term career in the industry.

You will work directly alongside two experienced CFP professionals who want to teach, mentor, and develop someone into an exceptional wealth management professional. The role will be primarily in-office while you're learning the business, with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule as you become established in the role.

What You'll Do Now:

Your first 9-12 months will be focused on learning the business and building a strong technical foundation.

You'll:

• Learn the firm's financial planning and investment philosophy
• Become highly proficient in eMoney
• Prepare and update comprehensive financial plans
• Support advisors with meeting preparation, analysis, and follow-up
• Learn the firm's technology, custodial, and operational processes
• Cross-train in client service and operations
• Complete your Series 7 and 66, if needed, with firm support
• Begin or continue working toward your CFP designation

The goal is to understand how the entire client experience comes together before taking on significant client responsibility.

From there, your career path can evolve based on your strengths and interests. You may grow into a Wealth Advisor managing client relationships, or become a planning-focused CFP who plays an integral role in delivering sophisticated financial planning across the firm. Significant business development is not a requirement for success in this role.

Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is genuinely excited about wealth management and wants to keep learning. Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience in wealth management, financial services, banking, investments, or a related field
• A solid understanding of financial planning fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to grow
• The ability to take direction and then run with a project
• A genuine interest in earning your CFP and building a career in wealth management
• Experience with eMoney, Pershing, the SIE, Series 7, Series 66, or CFP coursework is a plus, but not required

Compensation will be based on experience, licensing, and the level of responsibility you can take on from the beginning, with meaningful long-term earning potential as your role grows.
