Willow Valley Communities is looking for a Kitchen Prep Assistant to help create exceptional dining experiences for our Residents and guests. As a valued member of our culinary team, you'll assist with meal preparation, salad bar setup, buffet presentations, and cook station support across a variety of dining venues, including restaurants, buffets, country kitchens, display cooking stations, and tray line service. What You'll Do Assist cooks with food preparation using standardized recipes Measure, mix, wash, peel, slice, chop, and portion ingredients Help prepare salad bars, buffets, and display cooking stations Maintain proper food quality, temperatures, and food safety standards Set up, stock, monitor, and replenish food stations during service Communicate with cooks and team members to ensure smooth meal service Keep kitchen workspaces clean, organized, and guest-ready Safely operate kitchen equipment and assist with daily cleaning duties What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Friendly, engaging personality with excellent customer service skills Ability to work well in a team environment Professional appearance and reliability Previous food service experience is helpful but not required Schedule Part-Time 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM every Tuesday Every Other Saturday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Every Other Sunday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Some Holidays Required This schedule is perfect for someone looking for part-time hours while being part of an outstanding culinary team!
