And when a beneficiary needs more than case management, you know how to refer them somewhere that can actually help.If that sounds like you, keep reading.ResponsibilitiesCase File Management and ComplianceCreate and manage case files and disability documentation in accordance with JWOD/AbilityOne, federal, state, and county regulationsComplete written assessments for every employee with a disability to confirm qualification under JWOD/AbilityOne and that Mavagi Enterprises is making all accommodations as necessaryEnsure files meet requirements to pass internal and external audits without last-minute scramblingMaintain updated records on all Case Management platforms with accuracy and on timeFlag documentation gaps proactively before they become audit findingsVocational Assessment and Employee SupportConduct vocational assessments for current and new employees in support of ongoing eligibility and individual developmentDevelop accurate, personalized analysis plans with clear goals and objectives that promote employment opportunitiesDevelop and monitor individual Work Plan records and track the number of clients servedProvide training to supervisory personnel so they can help employees with disabilities succeed on the jobProvide crisis intervention and counseling or refer out when employees need more than case management, because we lead with humanityTicket-to-Work and Beneficiary ServicesDeliver employment services to beneficiaries who have assigned their Ticket-to-Work to Mavagi EnterprisesProvide accurate information on Ticket-to-Work services and initiatives to relevant audiencesMaintain regular contact with beneficiaries and conduct monthly and quarterly follow-up activitiesProvide ongoing, comprehensive case management, enter activities, monitor service dates, and extend or close activities as requiredProvide job development activities to assist clients in meeting their employment goalsOutreach, Recruiting, and AdministrationSubmit timely and accurate status reports to the President, including clients served, services delivered, and outreach activitiesConduct outreach and referrals to beneficiaries, family members, community partners, and service providersAssist in recruiting quality employees in accordance with Mavagi Enterprises’ missionResearch complex challenges and develop the procedures, documents, and forms needed to solve themPerform other duties and special projects as assignedRequiredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or a comparable combination of formal education and work experienceMinimum 2 years of experience working with persons with disabilities, preferably with organizations providing employment servicesWorking knowledge of employment law including ADA, EEO, FMLA, workers’ compensation, wage and hour, labor law, and JWOD/AbilityOne guidelinesExcellent written and verbal communication, you can write a formal assessment and have a real conversation with an employee who is strugglingStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing momentumIntermediate to advanced computer literacyValid driver’s licenseAbility to pass a background check and meet all contract screening requirementsAbility to perform the physical demands of the role for extended periods with or without assistance, including viewing a computer screen, using a keyboard, and answering phonesPreferredExperience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, or working with persons from diverse backgroundsExperience in a government contracting or regulated environmentFamiliarity with the AbilityOne program, SourceAmerica, or other disability employment frameworksAbility to make clear, confident presentations to staff and external partnersWhat We Value Over a ResumeIf you don’t check every box but you have a track record of doing careful work with vulnerable populations, communicating without being asked, and finishing what you start, we still want to hear from you.
