Associate Director, Regional Marketing Hematology

AstraZeneca seeks an Associate Director of Regional Marketing for its hematology business in the Great Lakes area. The role involves developing regional marketing strategies, building relationships with scientific experts, and translating market insights into brand initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional marketing plans aligned with brand strategy and local market opportunities
Cultivate relationships with 35–50 national and regional scientific experts through engagement and advisory activities
Generate insights from expert discussions and advisory boards to inform brand and medical strategy
Collaborate with field sales and brand teams to create local campaigns and healthcare professional initiatives
Manage program budgets, timelines, compliance, and annual operational planning aligned with brand priorities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience
Demonstrated oncology business acumen including care delivery, payers, and precision medicine
Advanced interpersonal and scientific communication skills for expert engagement
Cross-functional leadership experience with sales, medical affairs, and brand teams
Experience with MLR review, operational planning, and budget management
Willingness to travel more than 50% overnight including evenings and weekends
Ability to identify regional opportunities and manage complex vendor/agency projects

Compensation: $194,000–$291,000 base
