This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technology leader who can combine software engineering expertise, people leadership, delivery management, and architectural strategy to build high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities of the Software Engineering Manager will include:Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers while fostering quality, curiosity, and continuous improvementManage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and ongoing supportOversee application design and delivery using Microsoft.NET technologies, modern web frameworks, and relational databasesPartner with business leaders, IT security, compliance, and operations to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirementsEstablish and promote engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure development standardsPartner with the CIO to develop and prioritize a technology roadmap for platform enhancementsCollaborate with project leadership and Business Analysts to prioritize development initiativesDrive the iterative and continuous delivery of working softwarePromote strong documentation, operational readiness, and production stabilityProvide technical expertise in architecture, development standards, governance, and design patternsMentor developers and help maintain an architecture that supports both immediate and long-term organizational needsQualifications for the role of Software Engineering Manager :Required:Bachelor's degree, industry-recognized equivalent certifications, or equivalent industry experience5+ years of related experience in software development and leading software development projectsExperience with.NET Development, including C# and.NET CoreExperience with Python developmentExperience creating and implementing CI/CD pipelinesExperience with cloud technologies and services, including AWS/Azure DevOps/GitHubExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue, or SvelteProven ability to participate in a full-stack development teamStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders and work with minimal supervisionMust be bondable and maintain required certification statusredShift Recruiting is the region's premier recruiting agency with over 100 years of combined experience in the recruiting field.
