The registered sonographer performs a variety of technical imaging procedures and provides quality care to patients.Responsibilities include:Assessing patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.Operating highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).Training students and staff as assigned.Creating a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.Assessing data reflective of the patient status. Interpreting information needed to identify each patient’s requirement and/or specific needs, and providing care per applicable policy and procedures.Interacting with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care.Compensation Range: $33.52 - $50.28Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
