As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in building a culture of excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.Location: Tallahassee, FLBenefits:Competitive pay, along with holiday pay and paid time off (PTO) programAccess to online learning 24/7: free to help satisfy state-specific licensure requirementsHealth, dental, and vision insurance for the entire family and more!401k with a match!Major Responsibilities:Manage the staffing needs and provide supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unitAssist in staff development and supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse AssistantsProvide direct resident care in accordance with established plansConduct and document a complete data collection of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout the resident’s course of treatmentAssist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned residentMonitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements, as directedCoordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverageEnsure compliance with resident rights policies and work with families and other staff, as needed, to resolve grievancesQualifications:Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN or LPNMust have a minimum (3) years nursing experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility.
